Founded in January 1994, Rowan House Montessori School is now one of the most respected montessori schools on Dublin's south side.

Welcome to the Rowan House Montessori School web site. Our opening times are from 8am to 6pm daily, all year round.

In December 2006 we moved into our beautiful, purpose built Montessori building. Located on Stradbrook Road in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, the new building is light, spacious, airy and contains both inside and outside classrooms. Click here for a map of our location.

Our Programme includes art, music, cooking, drama, planting and a variety of tours. We believe that even the youngest child delights in seeing and mastering how the world works, so our teachers respect each child's individual interests and abilities. We wish to create in Rowan House a nurturing, loving environment filled with academic and social opportunities led by professional, highly qualified staff. We have a lovely outside garden for planting, energetic runs, digs in the sand pit, trips on the tractor not to mention caring for our rabbit Sooty!

In August 2019 we expanded our Afterschool Programme to a lovely spacious set of rooms beside Guardian Angels National School. This location offered us larger rooms and a beautiful outdoor park on our doorstep. Click here for a map of this location.
